Our Fellows are CPI's principal members. These pro-bono volunteers are dedicated to nonpartisanship and serve Kentucky by placing their time behind CPI's strategic process. They co-direct Centers for engaged policy development. For 2024 and first half of 2025, our current Fellows are dedicating their time towards recruiting a larger team of volunteers that want to help build a better "Future of the Commonwealth, For the Commonwealth". Whether early or late stage in their career - this includes attorneys, lobbyists & advocates, analysts, experienced researchers and PhD candidates, economists public affairs professionals, policy professionals, business developers & analysts, and any others who can combine data-driven & people-skills background needed for engaged policy development.

We will update an online application form soon. In the meantime, we invite interested candidates to:

1) Attach a resume

2) Email detailing your reasons for interest in CPI & commitement to nonpartisanship

3) Specific policy issue areas of interest, by interim committee of the General Assembly. (If policy interests are explicitly local, then you may provide committees of interest in metro government.)

4) Summary of background/qualifications related to quantitative/qualitative research, advocacy, and developing acts of legislation & policy.

Our board members monitor our inbox and will be in touch. We are bringing on volunteer Fellows on a rolling basis, and will send onboarding info virtually & invite new members to the next board meeting after application is reviewed & approved.
